Description
Asian 2 Embroidery and Sashiko includes 9 basic designs in 5 variations for the 4×4 and 5×7 hoop. When you purchase a single for download, you receive all 5 variations of that design.
Sashiko is traditionally done with light stitching on a dark background. These sashiko designs are digitized in double run and triple stitch. Triple stitch resembles a hand done back stitch and is suitable for heavier fabrics like denim or upholstery weight. Unless specified, the sashiko is double run and since there are no trims, suitable for machine quilting.
I have always loved the Asian style so I have several collections of Asian designs. They seem to be an attractive choice for home dec projects. See links below.
