Description

Candlewick & Satin Hearts Embroidery Designs coordinates with the series of Candlewick & Satin designs. These designs are supplied in 100, 125, 150 and 180 mm.  They are a combination of candlewicking, lacework, and satin stitch. Candlewicking resembles French knots done by hand, except when done by machine they do not come out.   I love the heirloom effect they give a design.

I have displayed them in 2 or 3 colors-soft mauve and light teal.  They are great tone-on-tone because these layers of stitching add dimension, even when monochromatic. They also make lovely embellishment on t-shirts or other articles of clothing.
