Description

Elegance Group 9 is one of the groups of Candlewick & Satin Elegance: a collection of 10 groups with 8 designs in each group. They are a combination of candlewicking, lacework, and satin stitch.  Each group in this collection has a border and megaborder, 3 corner designs, and 3 frames or medallions, all different sizes.  View the design specs for each of the designs in Group 9 in the gallery. The medallions can be used as a center design in table linens, with corners on the corners of a tablecloth. The frames are good to surround a monogram. If monogramming towels, remember to use water soluble stabilizer to keep stitches from sinking into the toweling. Elegance 9 is displayed in 2 soft tones to show the detail of the stitching.  They are also lovely done tone-on-tone or in whitework.   One customer purchased Candlewick and Satin Elegance to stitch on her daughter’s wedding gown. The various stitches provide texture even when monochromatic. They are also appropriate for lingerie, Christening gowns, or embellishing clothing for a unique heirloom effect. Try them to embellish bed linens or table linens. These are less dense than the heirloom quilt blocks.

PLEASE NOTE: Only the small corner will fit the 4×4 hoop. All the other designs in these groups require larger hoops. Please review the design info sheets in the gallery for specific design size info.  If trying to resize them, I cannot guarantee stitch integrity. I digitize in art format; Bernina software is an object based software. If attempts are made to resize in a stitch based software, the stitch integrity and positioning will likely not be successful.  If you are going to try resizing, be sure to keep the original design in case the attempt does not work out.
